John and I have talked a lot lately about all kinds of things. Mostly it's prompted by the NY Times or NPR stories. We talk about the need to create congressional seats to reduce the power of each. We talk about how bad we, as a society, are willing to let people fail, and how much aide we should give them. We talk about health care, education, taxes, libertarianism, welfare, etc. I'm so glad I have him around to initiate. He's the one who reads the paper, and he's willing to read it out loud to me. Then, he's just a smart dude who synthesizes everything well, and has good ideas.
I never remember all that we've talked about, but it is always good.
What a great husband! Mine does that for me, too. :-)
